Health Education Outreach
There is a segment of Ghanaian population who have difficulties accessing basic affordable healthcare due to several reasons. Medical outreach programs is organized to provide an intervention to this group. Volunteers with medical background who will like to make a meaningful impact will work alongside a local team of experts to provide critical medical needs to the most vulnerable people in our communities. These outreach activities will include health education, health screening, diagnoses and referrals. There will be a minimum signup number of four volunteers for the outreach to be activated. The outreach activities involve additional logistical costs. Please, contact your Program Coordinator for details.
Some Outreach activities are as follows:
- Malaria prevention education
- Use of mosquitoes net (helping install nets)
- Malaria Rapid Diagnostic Test
- Blood pressure check
- Checking other vital signs
- STD/STI Education
- Cancer Education, Prevention and Screening
